Dear friends of the Whistler Racket Club,

We are writing to invite you to an important Council meeting about the future of our club, and to a warm gathering afterward to thank you for your support. Your presence, even for an hour, will make a real difference.

We invite all WRC members, friends, neighbours, and supporters from across the Whistler community to attend this important Council meeting. A strong community presence sends a powerful message: that the current Whistler Racket Club must remain open until a new facility is built, and that Whistler deserves a modern, purpose-built racket club that will serve our growing community for generations to come.

Over the past several years, the WRC has experienced unprecedented growth. Community participation, programming, events, youth initiatives, tennis, pickleball, wellness, and social activities have expanded beyond anything the club has seen in its 30-plus-year history.

Today, the WRC serves far more than just tennis and pickleball players. It has become a true community hub, bringing together families, youth, seniors, athletes, visitors, and residents from every corner of Whistler.

The timing has never been better to demonstrate that the WRC represents not just a small membership, but a broad and growing cross-section of our community whose support grows stronger every year.

Your continued support, particularly through periods of uncertainty, has meant so much to all of us. Every person who attends helps demonstrate how important the WRC is to the Whistler community.
